Andlid Bio Solutions AB (ABS) is a newly started small consultancy company in the fields of microbiology, biotechnology and food.  Our ambition is to find perfect matches between microbial strains, specific ideas and human creativity.  We wish to make a difference in a time full of challenges. 

How can we  for instance use microbiology and biotechnology to create nutritious foods for the growing humanity without destroying our planet? And how can we find new probiotics beneficial for health? In modern life style, with less contact with nature, we seem to naturally meet too few microorganisms. We need them, and our focus is on good benefical microorganisms promoting health, and on microorganisms with desiarable properties for producing valuable biomolecules.

Our portfolio of expertise, our specific strains and consultancy work is backed up by over 30 years academic research including many national and international collaborations with industry and academia.

What we offer & who you might be

In a nutshell we offer any kind of consultancy within our expertice areas and to discuss any use of our strains. We do not sell finished products or mass-produce strains. Instead we offer expertice and experience to help other companies to develope their own product and process. We are open to discuss many forms of arrangements, long or short term commissions as well as liscensing of strain.

Perhaps you represent a food company interested in fermented foods, or a starter strain company interested in new strains, or a probiotic company searching novel probiotics, or a yeast/food company interested in naturally high folate or high phytase yeast. Or perhaps you represent a food company interested in yeasts that can grow on waste material, and produce dietary protein to incorporate in new plant based food. 

Or do you represent an aquaculture company interested in testing effective probiotics for fish or shrimps? Or a feed company searching a new good phytase?  Perhaps you are an academic researcher who would like to scientifically test something related to this company, such as our strains, and want to make an application to fund that. We would be happy to consider being part of such project too.
